Have You Met Josh?
Hello, I am Josh and I hate writing about myself in the third person:
For over a decade now, I have had the pleasure of working as an Educational Speaker specializing in Bullying Prevention and Social Media Safety. In that time I have spoken to over 1 Million students, parents and educators at schools and communities events across the United States and Canada.
Additionally I have worked as a Social Media Coordinator for a number of businesses around the world, helping them develop their social media strategy and build their brand's online presence.
In 2019 I released my much-anticipated memoir "You're Doing It Wrong" which chronicled my life growing up in small-town California and how I eventually found myself on the road as a sought-after educational speaker. My more educational book "Cyberbullying: Perpetrators, Bystanders and Victims" is now available in it's second edition.
As a huge Disney nerd, my educational style has been modeled around one of my favorite quotes from Walt himself, "I would rather entertain and hope that people learned something than educate people and hope they were entertained."
I am a graduate of Salem State University where I earned my BAs in both English (Secondary Education and Creative Writing) and Theatre (Performance). During my time at Salem I was the Director of the Award-Winning Educational Troupe "Human Action Theatre" as well as Program Council, and the Student Theatre Ensemble. I was a member of the Nu Class of Omega Zeta Epsilon (National Residence Hall Honorary) and in 2013 became the first alumnus to be inducted into Salem State's Civic Engagement Hall of Fame.
I am the host of the sometimes serious, sometimes silly podcast "The Millennial Agenda" where a series of guests and I take a look at the Millennial Generation and everything that we are really looking to get our of life (a hint: it isn't avocado toast).
I currently reside in beautiful Orlando, Florida where I can usually be found spending my free time at one of our many theme parks, usually with a camera in hand, or a churro.
As an avid runner, I have completed numerous races including the prestigious New York City Marathon as well as the Chicago Marathon. Maybe someday Boston?
